Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet school for children in the elementary grades. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic talent at that at the time. After a few weeks of the first trial she took the sport, she finished second in 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix signed a contract for a professional career with Adidas in 2003, and after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. The following year, Felix earned her very first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting a junior world record by running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the world's youngest champion for the 200m. She won the title in 2007. won her title by beating Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed within the top three throughout her events at the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
