Storage Wars (stylized as STORAGE WAR$) is an American reality television show that is aired on the A&E network. The original show aired twelve seasons starting on December 1, 2010 to January 30th, 2019 and was renewed annually following that. Then, in April 2021 the 13th season aired.



 



 If rent isn't paid for a storage facility for three months in California the contents could be auctioned off by an auctioneer as a single lot of items as part of an auction for cash only. The auction follows professional buyers who go to storage locations throughout the state and place bids on the lockers. Before each locker is auctioned the buyers are given five minutes to look over the contents from the front doorway, but may not access the locker or touch any of the items.
