Amy Carlson

 

Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968 was an American actress. She is most well-known for her role on CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Carlson was born in Elmhurst in Illinois"DuPage County" Illinois near Chicago. She was raised in Glen Ellyn in Illinois by her parents, Robert Eugene Carlson and Barbara Jane (Hultman), teachers in the school. She is of Swedish descent, and has roots in Smaland.



 



 Career



 1986-1992: The College years and the beginning of careers



 She was first introduced to Hollywood through her performance as a background actor in the movie Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. She then followed her elder sister Betsy who attended Knox College in Galesburg.

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on February 22, 1983. She is an American comedian and actress. She was a finalist on NBC's Last Comic Standing 2008 and is now the host of the dating show syndicated by TBS Excused as well as the TBS show Separation Anxiety.  Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza, a late-night talk program on Freeform in the year 2017.
